What’s the Easiest Step You Can Take to Boost Your Metabolism?

 DRINK WATER!

 Drink tons of water.  You should be drinking at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day.  That means if you weigh 200 pounds you should be drinking 100 ounces of water a day.

I know you’ve probably been beaten over the head with the hydration stick but I’m doing it again because it’s so important and so easy to do. 

Here is what counts towards your water intake:

  1. Water (obviously)
  2. Water with lemon, lime, orange (another obvious one)
  3. Herbal Tea (without caffeine)
  4. Sparkling water (unsweetened)

That’s it!  Those are the only drinks that count toward your daily water intake.  Soda, coffee, sports drinks, juice, etc – DO NOT COUNT. 

I challenge you to keep track of your water intake for a day.  You may surprised at how far below the mark you fall.
