Comments Off on Simple Secret to Boost Your Metabolism
What’s the Easiest Step You Can Take to Boost Your Metabolism?
Drink tons of water. You should be drinking at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day. That means if you weigh 200 pounds you should be drinking 100 ounces of water a day.
I know you’ve probably been beaten over the head with the hydration stick but I’m doing it again because it’s so important and so easy to do.
Here is what counts towards your water intake:
- Water (obviously)
- Water with lemon, lime, orange (another obvious one)
- Herbal Tea (without caffeine)
- Sparkling water (unsweetened)
That’s it! Those are the only drinks that count toward your daily water intake. Soda, coffee, sports drinks, juice, etc – DO NOT COUNT.
I challenge you to keep track of your water intake for a day. You may surprised at how far below the mark you fall.

Recycled Candy-Wrapper bags from Nahui Ollin
Inspire bag-envy everywhere you go! Ingenious Mexican designer Olga Abadl has put a new spin on the ancient Mayan technique of binding everyday materials and has created a line of handmade designer bags crafted of recycled candy wrappers. Olga discovered the technique of binding everyday materials into handbags at a cultural festival in Mexico. She realized that this process not only prevents the emission of harmful chemicals into our atmosphere by recycling, but also allows for the design of unique materials now classified as eco-fashion.
By combining this technique and her eye for design, Olga created the super-stylish, super-eco friendly, and – amazingly – super-sturdy candy wrapper handbag. Tote these bags from pre-school to birthday party, to work meeting and train station for the perfect everyday bag.
Nahui Ollin Bags are made from recycled materials. Defective candy wrappers are rescued before being brought to landfills and used in the constructions of each bag. It can take up to four thousand wrappers and four days for an individual artisan to construct one bag. Our unique process ensures that no two bags are the same. With Nahui Ollin, you are truly purchasing a one of a kind designer piece.
Price: From $28 for an “Itsy-Bitsy” to $129 for our popular “Ritual”
